My daughter is out with her friends. I’m waiting for her return so that I can go out.
My mom in law popped by today. I was supposed to work, but didn’t. She’s been trying to see me. I wanted to get my mind right first. we talked about a lot and I knew it was all going to happen, I just hoped that it would be once everything was final. She apparently didn’t know or wasn’t comfortable with the way the holidays panned out. She doesn’t think STBX (her son) is happy. She thinks he’s sleeping in the bed he made but isn’t 100% thrilled: Whatevz. Not my problem. I shed a tear or two but didn’t cry cry.
I have been talking to two important people and a slew of men from various dating apps. I’m not marrying GA boy. I’m also not humping around. I have a solo weekend coming up and I’m just filling my dance card. I am actually starting to enjoy my “freedom” from 24/7 mom duty.
